Paull Rodrigue, Glass Design
Trained at Sheridan College in the School of Fine Craft and Design, Paull is a renowned glass artist based in Hamilton.
For over 25 years, Paull’s signature bold colours and swirls have taken him around the world for exhibitions and into numerous private and corporate collections. In 2015, Paull’s work was chosen as a gift for the Queen of England by Lieutenant Governor of Ontario Elizabeth Dodswell.
Paull will be working directly with Angela to hand-make the more than 10,000 glass beads required for this work. Making the beads in solid glass will give Angela a full colour pallete to choose from, and ensure the colour of the beads does not fade with time, and a long annealing time will provide superior strength.
